About Kenlie

Kenlie Fite is a Population Scientist, Certified Life Coach, and Educator located in New Orleans, LA, who champions success in others while pursuing her dreams one step at a time. She works full-time at the Association of Public Health Laboratories (APHL), where she works to advance public health through training and workforce development. In addition to her work at APHL, she is an Adjunct Instructor at Arizona College of Nursing, where she teaches Cultural Diversity and Global Health.

She is also a Doctoral Candidate at Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine (SPHTM), where she anticipates earning a Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) in Leadership, Advocacy, and Equity in May 2025. She holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Health Education and Communication from the SPHTM and a Bachelor of Arts (with a double major) in Public Relations and Health and Wellness with a minor in Marketing. Additionally, she is a Certified Professional Life Coach through the International Christian Coaching Institute (ICCI).

She has offered coaching tips and advice in her recurring role on Great Day Louisiana, a morning show in the CBS affiliate in New Orleans for nearly five years and counting. She hosts workshops and seminars and speaks at local events and conferences around the country.

She’s also been a volunteer Worship Leader at Church of the King for several years. She seeks to live a life of worship on and off the platform while equipping other leaders to do the same.

She’s married to a kind-hearted, handsome, wise, and generous man, Michael, a Financial Advisor with a background in accounting. He’s a numbers guy who uses his skills to help people make measured and informed decisions to secure their financial futures.

On a typical day, you can usually find Kenlie working from home, writing her dissertation, encouraging a friend at a coffee shop, teaching, reading, or cuddling with her fur children, Oliver and George. On some days, you can find her doing all those things!

Kenlie is married to Michael, a kind, generous, outgoing financial advisor specializing in accounting and finance. He’s patient, loves people and puns, and they adore their Schnauzer fur children, Oliver and George. Oliver was born in 2018 and found his forever family with Michael and Kenlie in March of 2019, and George was born in June 2022 and became part of the family in early 2023.

Michael and Kenlie were married in June of 2017 after meeting in a Freedom small group at their church. They are active members at Church of the King, and they enjoy serving together, going on road trips and vacations, leading small groups, welcoming people into their home and cooking for them, and playing board games, and spending time with friends and family.
